They Say

 

Children need to be trained

Because children know no boundaries

Children need to be controlled

And educated because they say the truth

They say what they have to say

And what they know.

 

Then we got carried, sucked away

By the hurricane of illusion

And drifting on the tides of idoctrination

The timeless moments of our feelings

Are forgotten

And all we have is duplication.

 

Then when we become part

Of a picture that we cannot see

We feel we have been justified

When we do not need to be

When the tapestry we have weaved

Has become reality.
