You’re Wasting Time.

You learn to live with the monsters

And the din of your streets

Even though before outside

was like a playground

where we as children used to play.

You have to wade and plough the ocean

Despite the currents and believe

You haven’t reached the crest yet.

You learn to adjust to your new focus

Which is not what you have learned

Which is the wilderness of an era

Whether it is over-crowdedness,

Overbuilding or pollution of the eyes.

From where I am I can hardly hear you

And you know you’re wasting time.
